We recently stayed at a guesthouse in Tokushima for a few nights. Our travel purpose was to explore the city and enjoy the local restaurants. The guesthouse had a central location, just a short walk from the city center and many dining options. The owner was a lovely woman who made us feel welcome, despite her limited English skills. Our room was actually a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a fully stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and there were even futons available. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was impressive, with nice towels provided. We also appreciated the option to hang wet clothes on the balcony. Additionally, there was calming music playing in the hallway 24/7, which surprisingly added to the soothing atmosphere. it was a great value for money stay.

It was a traditional hotel in Tokushima. Near to the downtown, 10 minutes on foot. The staff did everything possible for a pleasant stay👍😃

This place had everything we needed for our trip, we loved the food and facilities, the room was big and very clean, and the private parking was an advantage, plus it was an easy walk to hamagiku for lunch.

We had clear instructions and everything we needed was available. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. The check-in process was smooth and we were able to check in early. The location was convenient, close to the center and many restaurants. We had a good dinner at a local restaurant.

One of the rooms we reserved was not available, so we had to sleep all in one room. The apartment was located in an adult entertainment district, so there was some noise from nearby karaoke bars.

During my stay at the guesthouse, I appreciated the convenient location. It was just an 18-minute walk from the train station and close to popular tourist spots like Awa Odori Hall and Bizan Park. This made it easy for me to explore the city and its attractions without worrying about long commutes. Additionally, the room was well-equipped and clean, providing a comfortable stay. I especially liked the automatic check-in process and the detailed instruction manual provided in multiple languages.

One aspect that I was not satisfied with was the noise level in the area. The guesthouse is located in a red light district, so there was street noise and karaoke from nearby establishments, especially on Friday nights.

The owner was a very nice woman! Her English wasn’t the best but she tried and wanted to help anyway! Cute traditional rooms and a nice kitchen to use. There was calming music 24 hours a day in the hallway which you would think would be annoying but was actually soothing. The apartment is very spacious and clean! I traveled with one friend but the space fits 5 people comfortably. The location is in walking distance of the places we wanted to go to in Tokushima city. Although we checked in and out by ourselves, the host is very friendly and responded to our messages promptly!
